Our Mission
Children’s Smile Connection is a New Hampshire school-based cavity prevention and treatment program protecting children’s smiles.
Our mission is to improve children’s health — accomplished by partnering with schools and communities to provide education, access to care, and cavity prevention and treatment for all children, including those experiencing disabilities.
The effectiveness of our school-based cavity prevention program is achieved through communication, teamwork, commitment, and high-quality, compassionate care.
Our Work
Through the expertise of a Certified Public Health Dental Hygienist (CPHDH), children in Pre-K through Grade 5 receive dental screenings and preventive care up to twice a year.
All children with informed consent are eligible for this free program.
Children’s Smile Connection implements school-based cavity prevention and treatment programs across New Hampshire communities, including the Chester, Derry Cooperative, Hampstead, Londonderry, Salem, and Timberlane Regional School Districts.
Why it Matters
Poor oral health can cause pain, missed school days, and reduced academic performance.
New Hampshire’s school-based dental programs show that better oral health leads to improved attendance, learning, and overall well-being.
By providing preventive care directly in schools, we remove barriers to access and help every child smile with confidence.
